New prototype game is in development because of rumors

I heard that the new prototype game is in apparently development according to the playtester I guess.

--It's featured the return of alex mercer as the original main protagonist

--includes shapshifting and infiltraton mechanics

--set in new york city, consistent with the serious iconic urban backdrop

Currently this is only an unverified rumor, so take it with a grain of salt until Activision confirms!


It's either I'm thinking in my theory this could be either a remake or reboot or it takes place after the second game which is prototype 3 maybe I hope this is going back to the badass edgy superhero style with supernatural stuff and please for the love of elder god it better not be woke....

I feel like it's going to probably end up being a remaster or remake. Or they could have created this "leak" themselves just to see if enough people are interested before investing money in a new Prototype project. Ideally, I would love for them to create a Prototype 3 game as well as a live action series based around the 1st game.

Now a days it would be hamfisted political opinions on a topic, rather than hamfisted factual analogs like in MGS series.
Dune Awakenings alter timeline where Paul was born a female as planned Not "woke", Marvels Buttbaby Nightcrawlers birth being retconed to Mystique being the father "woke".

Well since Spiderman is a hit and this is also kind of the same genre. I am inclined to believe it.
