TUTORIAL - How to fix unplayable framerate issues with the recent ATI/AMD graphic drivers!!
So I'm pretty sure many of you guys out there using ATI cards are having problems with this game but don't worry, I've found a solution that should fix it. Excuse me if this has already been figured out but hey, give it a try.

1. Need disable Catalyst A.I. in the settings of videodriver, or make the following:
- Press Win+R;
- Write: 'regedit' and press Enter;
- Find folder "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \ 0000 (or 0001) \UMD\";
- Change "CatalystAI" key value: 31 (or 32) to 30, then change CatalystAI_DEF key value to 0.

Now playing from 10-20 fps to solid 60 :D

Glad you got it working :). I heard that the Catalyst A.I. can cause graphical problems so I tried disabling it through the registry since there is no other option to do it.

Would you believe this actually solved the lag problem with The Amazing Spiderman too? It seems the Catalyst Ai has been bugging a variety of titles. I think these two both use the same engine as well as made by Activision.
So thanks again, two games for one fix!
ça marche tip top :zombiethumbsup:

When I get into:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \ 0000 (or 0001) \UMD\"
I can find the "CatalystAI_DEF" to change value, but cannot find where to change the "CatalystAI" key value.
Can anyone help?

Double click or right click on "CatalystAI_DEF" and it will bring up a window which you can edit.

I have the "CatalystAI_DEF" and have changed to 0 from 1, but I have nothing that is "CatalystAI" key value to change to 30 from 31 (or 32).

I also am using Windows 10... in case this makes a difference

This doesn't have any side effects, does it?

Maybe but you can save the registry before your edit it

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/322756:
Click Start, type regedit.exe in the search box, and then press Enter. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
In Registry Editor, locate and click the registry key or subkey that you want to back up.
Click File > Export.
In the Export Registry File dialog box, select the location where you want to save the backup copy to, and then type a name for the backup file in the File name field.
Click Save.

If you dobble click on the save file, you import the save registry back.

Yeah, thanks. Also, works for me with my potatoest AMD rig. And I think just editing it back to 31/32 and 1 can work in case there's side effects.
