Why so many people say this game is bad?

I know it have bad pc port and bugs. But it gave me more fun than half of the games i played and it's one of the most important games to me.

Because it's not one of the most important games to them. If they are like me, they can't even get to the title screen before crashing. That is most likely the reasoning for it being bad.

i couldn't get to title screen so i tried to minimalize game but the screen was all grey so i left it for about 2 minutes. When i came back it was loaded. Most of opening screen problems can be fixes by this as i had that problem on 3 PCs. I think that people just can't play the game and they don't even try to fix it. Sad because after fixing game it's really fun

As a matter of fact, I just finished the game on my PC and, apart from the little start problem, really easily solved by switching off then on the screen, everything went to be perfect !

Besides, as far as I am concerned, the content of the game is awesome, if you want my opinion. And the lifespan of the game is quite nice, especially if you consider the whole story made by Prototype and Prototype 2.

If you have questions for ways to fix your problems on PC, here I am ;-)

i really love the game.
But the game has cuased a problem.
My computer has having a problem called kernal data in page error.
i had to delete all files from my PC

Seriously disabling catalyst ai fixes the problem.

My mouse just hates this game spinning my camera is like weird stutter that gives me massive motion sickness..

I've tried all the fixes and it still stutters, i'm sure the games fun but with the cameras like that its unplayable for me...

Never had any of these issues on Prototype 1..

Kinda hate buying games and devs can't even make the controls playable.

Using RadeonPro to to enable vsync and lock framerate to 60 fixed the problem in the past. Not sure if it still works now.

I'm nvidia, and i've done the fixes in Nvidia control panel to fix it, while it helped its still bad enough to make me sick as a dog.

I'm not sure but I think you also should enable the ingame vsync.

i can run it without any lag what so ever, i think its a great port, just my opionion though

I played Prototype and Prototype 2 on my potato pc
When i was 7 years old and 10 years old
I dint have any kind of problems and its easily on the top of my best games list
For those who arw wondering why i dont have it on my ateam,i bought a cd copy of it

even torrented version works for me, but steam version can't even load....
