Crash after start up

Once the game asks ''press enter to continue.'' it crashes afterwards.

im on windows 11 anyone have a idea on how to fix it?

just made this the other day, works for me. i couldn't even get to menu before that. should work for win 11 too. let me know if it helps

ad me and look on my profil there found you guides for initiation fix when live in germany or uncut patch data and guide for fix initiation screen, and fix Trash mission bug

Yeah for any AMD CPUs trying to run a Prototype game, you have to limit steam.exe to 4 cores.
Not that there's a problem with that, there's no reason for a glorified browser to be using more than 2 cores anyway.

actually you only need the flytrap mission to start fresh. Don't use a saved game as a fresh reload. because there are still bugs that follow, and then only as long as the cores are reduced from 4 to 1 until the mission, beyond the point where the soldiers should come, after the 2 brawlers, then the slow-motion explanation should start with the first sighted soldier, and then you are already past this bug point and can continue playing normally with 4 cores.

if you use the simple fix i linked a few posts up which is to simply create a batch file with which to start steam, there is nothing else needed, i just played through the whole game a few weeks ago and didn't have to use any other patches or fixes and the game ran flawless.

I tried everything I could find on the internet, the interface HUD thing, extra files, disabling cores.... Finaly found that I had to disable hyperthreading in my BIOS to get it running. Now it even run without the bug in the claw pounce mission and without the mouse lag thing. Was in w10 works for me also with w11.
