After the first film is over I just have a whitescreen which wont go away...

Have you tried verifying the game cache, making sure your drivers are up to date and rebooting your PC?

If none of that helps, list your specs.

i have the same problem my specs are Intel Corei5 4456 16 GB DDR3 Geforce GTX970 and Windows 10 Home

Could it be that Windows 10 isn't compatible with Prototype?

I've played the game on Windows 10 and it works fine.

To all those who are still unable to play the game due to this whitescreen bug.
Download this file and replace it in the installation directory of the game.

The whitescreen bug should then disappear after the intro video. At least it worked for me :)
