To answer the questions :
a) i'm not sure what types of cpu/gpu mine correspond to, so i'll just tell you the complete name of each, i hope that's okay. My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and my GPU is a Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 (not much of tech person, if you need more info feel free to ask and i'll find a way to figure it out)
b) I had the Vsync option turned off in the settings when i was experiencing thoses issues
c) Turning VSync on did actually improve things quite a bit, cpu and gpu usage went down a fair amount and i don't have overheating issues anymore :D
Glad i came across this post and can now play BoT in optimal conditions again :D Praise to you and the team
b) VSync wast turned off in settings, my GPU was constantly at 100% usage in task manager
c)after turning on vsync it's much better, between 30-60%
CPU is betwen 80&100%, temps for gpu say its 80-85 degrees celsius, still kind of borderline
b) vsync off
c) I always turn off vsync on every game I play, can't say
- geforce gtx760
- with v sync off gpu usage is at 98-100%, turning it on lowers the value to 90 - 95 %
- Geforce RTX 2070Super
- With vsync on gpu usage 40%max 57-59oC, without vsync temperature going to 70-72oC.
- v-sync on
- I am not willing to turn it off to find out!
