Nice New Sword in Underbelly

I just found "Unearthed Blade from Kuro" 3 Force, 1 Ward 2 Speed, value 3426 with the promise that it can be restored by a good smith. Sadly such a smith cannot be found in Crossings, as neither the Sword Specialist nor the Char Smith seems to react to the item so far.

To make sure that NPC's react to what you are carrying, put them in the top row in your bag. I have noticed that this is a problem with some. I put things in my top left slot if the NPC does not react, come back and they do react if they are supposed to.

Did you find it in a red Chest or a brown one ?

Going to be on the lookout for that one! Maybe try the Sword Dealer in Bat Saha. He mentioned he was interested in unusual blades.

Hi Wirdjos, tried the person you suggested but no joy. I wonder if there is a hidden smith? Perhaps the quest isn't finished?

I think that latter thought is the truth of it. If there was an intended quest to improve that blade, I suspect it hasn’t been implemented yet. But it wouldn’t hurt to keep the weapon in your inventory(not in a pocket or equipped) when talking with someone that might be interested in repairs.

I have no intention of getting rid of it. I like the stats. I personally think that Force is the most important these days, especially if it comes with no burden.

Oh nice! Meanwhile, I'm still stuck with this depreciated Sharps Crossing Crescent... >.>

Does it only give out Combat Stats? Or does it also give out some Endeavour points?

Have you tried bringing it to Old Ez the wandering knife sharpener? Can't think of anyone else that you haven't already tried.

Have not tried Old Ez, and I completely forgot he was a knife sharpener. I thought he was a story collecter. Thx for the tip ebaysj. I'll try it.

I know its been a year since the Thread was opened but do you maybe still remember which Brown Chest you found the Sword in ?
