(SPOILERS) Question about the Mystic Weaver

My character recently hit level 10 and the Secretive Mystic in Bat Saha was finally willing to talk to me. After a quick fetch quest the mystic told my character about a secret island off Alken Rock where a character called Mystic Weaver can be found during night time.

Verbatim the Secretive Mystic says: "There is an island, wreathed in mists that
is the home of the Mystic Weaver. Travel to the shores of Alken Rock, on the Southwest coast, and wade into the water... When the tide allows, a sandbank will allow you passage South to the weaver's island... I have only met her during twilight..."

I presumed a travel prompt to the island will appear at a specific spot and/or time of day at Alken Rock Coast. So far I've searched the area multiple times during the day, dusk and night, going around the edges of the walkable water area but no travel prompt has appeared. Also tried if weather conditions had something to do with it and still found nothing.

Am I completely off the trail here, or is there some very specific parameter to fulfill for the path to appear?

No idea! But tides are tied to the moon, so maybe not every night has the proper tides?

Thank you! I very rarely get to play during night time so I know next to nothing about tides. I'll keep looking for it then.

in the trailer for the game it shows a moon in the sky which is not present in the current game. people theorise that moon phases etc are not actually in the game yet, in which case weaver's island is likely unavailable at present.

Aww that's a bummer. Nothing to do but wait for an update then I guess.

Did anyone ever find the way to this island?
I keep trying, but no luck yet...... if anyone has found her, it would be great to know my attempts are not futile

Found some clues about requisites for this task that appear true for now:
* KP >/= 10
* Since there's a KP requirement, the event/endeavor may not apply to all players
* Event could be tied to when filled cup is returned to Secretive Mystic (usually at night)
* Potentially anytime at night (some report seeing "Doomed Ghostly Figure" well before dawn or well after dusk - e.g. the few sightings on EU server were reported between 6AM-7AM UTC)
* The DGF may be solely connected to the WaveJinn story, the captain's treasure being tied to Skirr Islet, rather than to the Mystic Weaver
* A separate mournful entity may be seen on shore at times disappearing after speaking with it, just north of Skirr's Islet and more dependent on a 'twilight' appearance (have not seen this 'sandbar' appear yet)

There's ... an island directly South out in the water. It can be reached by wading out to the edge of the shallows, then about middle on the Alken Rock map. The Weaver only shows up at Twilight for a short period. I arrived just before the sun went down, when it appeared to be near sunset. When the sun was setting on that little island, the Weaver appeared. I bought some amazing Knots, so bring lots of trade goods with high value (I sent 20k or more) Best of luck!
