Wise Destitue Wretch Quest SPOILERS

I just finished this one, I figured I write up a quick guide.

So I'm pretty sure everyone has talked to the Wise Destitue Wretch, talking about a sefra in The Jade Urn, but if he's telling you this then you already can't complete the quest.


If you have the Battered and Bruised debuff, the Wise Destitue Wretch will keep mentioning a rumor about a sefra that rewards maytrdom, and if you keep baring your wounds, you might be rewarded.

The Hard part:

Level up to 10 while keeping the Battered and Bruised debuff, this'll take awhile. The only tricky part is remembering to avoid talking to any of the Teahouse Keepers, or else they'll get rid of your Battered and Bruised debuff.

I'll be honest here, I'm not 100% sure if this is what triggers the next part of the quest but I feel like it's the only thing that makes sense.

Once you reach level 10, speaking to the Wise Destitue Wretch he'll say you're a seasoned, far-travelled khelim, with your Braided Shore birth wounds. Then he'll tell you to seek the Sefra that makes its home in The Jade Urn from time to time.

The Jade Urn:

In The Jade Urn, you are looking for the Patient Sefra, located at Humming Spring Well, bottom left of the map. It's just a simple turn in at that point.

The reward:

Sefra's feather ring
Base trade value: 3167
Spirituality +2
Speed +4

Wow, you are dedicated. Good job. What kept you going to achieve that?

I had a go at working it out too, I thought the "wound" was my missing petal but realised I was wrong when I first talked to the NPC and it said the regular "unlike you" bit. There was other stuff I wanted to do so I forgot about it.

Well my first character died and turned into a ghost pretty early on, so I had to remake a character anyways.

I also remember a post awhile ago where everyone was trying to figure it out. So kind of just decided to keep going and just figure it out myself.

I'm sure a lot of people are wondering if they should re-roll a character just for this. Now you got an answer to see if you want too.

Sefra reward for not going to tea house?

I've heard about this from two npcs now, that if you remaind battered and bruised you can find a sefra to reward you, but I can't seem to find where it is. Does anyone know?
