I have Affinity for Water (though I can't remember where I got it), but to be honest, I don't use it (2 skill points). Instead I use Sturdy Frame (0 points for me) and my energy never goes down unless I have a serious debuff. I don't know if that's a glitch or not, but it's handy.
I didn't have enough junk on me to buy the magical fire spell. That one looked fun.
Is it alright if we list here where we got said source spells?
(Also, yeah. Forgot I got Smoke Cylinder too).
There's a few more spells I know of but don't have: Leaping Jolt, Warp, Bandage, Spot Injury.
A warning though: combat spells are completely broken right now. If you use one, it brings your ward to zero, and you will get insta-killed if someone attacks you.
True... that and I did put SPOILERS! on the title lol.
Yeah I actually did die cos of the combat spell issue. I died to an... Wait for it... ASPIRING BANDIT! The guy was basically a 1/1 and I already had him at kill range but I wanted to be flashy and used Strike of Pale Nights when his attack gauge was nearly full. He got me killed and mugged me... >.> Killed him later and got back my 2 items with interest.
I dunno about Warp but the other 3 spells ya mentioned can be acquired at Bat Saha.
As for the spell I got, I'll give 1 to be safe since most people can do this. Kill a Kettem to get Desperate Strength. Haggler's Wit and Eye for Trade can be acquired at Little Slip. Go to the Teahouse on Friday Night with a Knot you can acquire from Bat Saha (Look for Secret Person). The rest should be self-explanatory.
I have found this skills too:
- Call Fruit Sapling
- Knot of Mimarob (❤ nice for roleplay @ nights in tea houses)
- Whistle
- Mind of Tactican
- Pyre
- Mystic Arms
- Jolt of Energy
- Guide Sparks: Stranger / Shelter

The Fireplace spell I believe I saw on the traveling merchant on the road near Char Cape.
Some of these spells sound amazing, and now I have new purpose in life.
If you're talking about Char Bolt Bind, go to the Two Travellors at night time on a day when they have that ritual thing going on at the left side of the map where the ruins are. Just outside of the area and on the right, 2 individuals that are a part of that clique should be taking a stroll cos they got kicked out from the ritual for misconduct or something? Anyways, you can purchase Char Bolt Bind AND Flaring Crescent from the person.
DO note that both spells are in the 4 digit value so bring something expensive to barter like glassware. Also, the pair aren't always going to be there. So they either don't always spawn or they take strolls elsewhere on the map too I think. But given their backgrounds and circumstances, they should be hugging the upper left side of the map for their strolls for the most part.
Regarding that Warp Spell, you talking about the 3 oldies at Little Slip? Or are there other areas with 3 individuals packed on a single boat stinking it up?
Holy... That's betr than Pale Nights... Does it have a prerequisite for usage?
What is Pale Nights?
Where did you find that?
