Sound?

for some reason, the units and the buildings have no sound when i click on them but when i play "American Conquest" there is no problem, just with fight back im having this problem. I did download this game from steam so can anyone help me?

Steam sucks with ACFB. If you have $3 dollars to spare buy it from GOG.com . What probably happened when the game was installed part of it was blocked as a virus. If you still need help contact me at mastersofthefield.com/forums (ACFB mod club)

I have this same problem and there is a sort of fix, when playing on a map press enter to bring up the command box and then type 'qwe'. This should bring sound back, although fog of war will be disabled.
