You can try to play it in windowed mode and changing the compatability to windows xp (service pack 3) this is what worked for me.

Steam totally sucks for ACFB. Basically you have to totally get a new game to fix your mouse problem. You can get it for like 5 bucks on GOG.com and it is a way better download. I am not even sure why steam offers ACFB as they totally suck for it and don't offer any support. I check this forums about every other week as only people that need help post here and no one else visits this site.

I can honestly say I know more than any other active ACFB player about game fixes, so if you want more help please contact me at the mastersofthefield.com/forums site. I check there every day rather than every other week here.

I had this problem but I fixed it you have to run the game in windowed mode.

You go to the game files in steam right click on the application and go to shortcut, in shortcut look for targe and add -win after the "

i find to play at innormal window ACFB, go to administrator and select XP (pack 3)

Slamdwarff , I put -win after the " in target but it says that it's not valid, and even in XP (pack 3) mode my ACFB still does'nt work , it launches , I have the sound but still back screen
