Sadly its too buggy even on win 7 to be enjoyable.

I really like the combat mechanics in the game and I was playing battle for europe. Game can freeze in the middle of the combat. One time when I attacked a region I had an instant defeat and my whole army lost. Sadness.

Im also dissappointed by the lack of campaign, that was a strong part in Cossacks one.

Ugh.. there actually is a campaigh. But yes, the game is exceptionally buggy!

There are campaigns in "Battle for Europe" which is the same game with an expansion. Campaign in this is a tutorial.
I can actually enjoy the game, sometimes bugs out but personally I find the combat and building mechanics great.
