Check your steam setting for controller setup.. If you have xbox or switch pro or generic check marked, it make mess up your setting

I just did fresh install win10 on 2700x/X470 mobo/16GB/GTX 1080ti and installed steam/Nvidia divers and that it.. plugs my DS4 and and worked fine (USB 3.0 port not 2.0 port) having Playstation checkmarked may or may not work.

As for Bluetooth. I never got mine to work and i think its Blue tooth issue. I've tried few different USB blu tooth ones and all failed. So I just go wired and runs fine..

Also note i've had issue when my Logitech G29/Th8a we're also plugged in and other games would not work/not see DS4 controller.. Unplugging other USB devices fix my issue (which happened for me when was trying Detroit being human)

This is incorrect. I played 70 hours of death stranding wirelessly with my DS4 using just the built in bluetooth on my motherboard. This game just doesn’t support it currently.

curious, because i think i recall sony saying this was the only way to wirelessly play dualshock 4 on pc, wonder why that changed

I usually use an xbone controller but prefer to use a DS4 for ps4 ports. Since death stranding was the first one I’m not sure how it was before.
