It seems to be highly depending on the layout of the base.
But i noticed Humas seem to know exactly where you are sometimes even when it makes no sense. Like shooting someone from a hidden position. The others will run right at you as if the could exactly calculate the way the arrow took.
The humans in bandit camps are too easy.
Scout out where all the bandits are using Aloy's focus travelling around camp. Trap up exit points. There's usually a back way in and if you're careful you can headshot them all.
It's the same with the machines, programmed to act a certain way.
Nil was right about one thing in regard to the bandits, no one will miss them when they get murdered in return and it's an acceptable act in the sacred lands and the sundom that people like Nil and Aloy can get away with without any punishment.
Don't expect the bandits to have any good level of training with their weapons and their own physical condition, neither should you expect good quality gear or even any signs of military exercises and behaviour.
I actually like these bandit camps build into the ruins and rubble of old structures for 900 years early, complete with wooden palisades.
When your gear is in a good place and you have the right weapons, it can be very easy. Bandits generally follow their patrol paths or just stand in one location. once you got that sussed, it's an easy matter to exploit the right moment to quietly take out a target without anyone noticing the body.
You don't need to trap the exits if you take out key bandits that lead to the camp alarm being disabled.
I did that Claws Beneath, now that's a challenge!
It is quite effective.
Some camps seem to be fun others not. Like i said it seems to be the layout.
I still dont think human combat is too well made. Beast fights are so much more fun.
Epic name for a rock breaker boss. Those rock breakers can be very tricky to deal with and getting traps setup and waiting for the machine to trip on is going to tricky as you spend more time trying to evade the attacks than kiting the target and hope it doesn't tunnel underneath and around.
It's highly effective against some tougher machines when used correctly, and even more useful against groups of smaller machines and human enemies if they are in one place. Aim for the ground to get the best out of it with pin point attacks on groups and try not to aim too high or the blast bomb will fly past as the target changes direction at the last moment.
Well i just finished the last one yesterday and only 16 % or so bother to do that. So that doesnt really speak for the camps.
I did a FW quest and only 20% achieved it. So I conclude that only about 30% of people play this even close to all the way through, and I think it's probably less by the end.
Some things I haven't bothered with(Hunting grounds and Tutorials), but with the bandit camps they may just be too easy and people get bored and don't complete all of them.
Machines being the real focus.
i have a question for you guys and for Guerrilla devs :
why we can't hide enemies bodies (humans not animals bodies) ??
This game has stealth mechanics, so why this feature is missing??
