Can't upgrade to remastered version anymore?
After remaster released, the entry to upgrade horizon for 10$ disappeared from Steam. Are we no longer able to upgrade on PC?

When I do this, it just shows a greyed out bundle for the remaster. I do not already own the remaster and there is no option to upgrade in the main menu of the game. There doesn't even seem to be a way to contact steam about that particular issue.

I had the same issue, but I've managed to get around it by following ziosj's suggestion word for word:

  1. in my Steam client, go to library and locate Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition
  2. from the detail view, click on "Store Page" link
  3. on Store detail page, I can add the Horizon Zero Dawn™ Remastered Bundle BUNDLE to cart for €10

Man it sucks that they kept PSN account req even for Remaster.
My country is not supported so i have only one option if i want to play HZD:R
Why Sony still pushing this stupid thing with PSN Account is beyond me, when it hurt their sale more then it benefit them.

It's the day of Horizon Zero Dawn: Remastered (HZD:R), so expect some bandwidth overflow ruckus due to that fact alone. :creatigoo:

Although, personally, I would never acquire a Single Player game which's "remaster" PlayStation Network DRM forceful account creation 'add-on' just to play it.
And that's just not to mention its EULA that doesn't comply with the EU's Personal Information Data law[research.playstation.com]. :steamfacepalm:

But to each his/her own preferences. And in that mid time mine will always be voting no with wallet to such low ethical prctices, period. :baa:

I got the complete game. And did pay the €10 upgrade to the full remastered version. But it said the remastered version is in you library. But there was no update? No download. How can it be, that I already have the updated remastered version????
I don’t believe it. Played the game and see no difference……
Do I have to uninstall the game first and reinstall it again?

For some reason it wants me to buy the complete edition and the remaster upgrade again.
I own the complete edition already.

What a joke.

I was struggling to find this. Clicking the Store Page and it showed only the bundle for £45. However, added this to my cart and it only added the £10 upgrade to the remastered version

The remastered version shows up as a new game in your library complete w/ a new installation. It doesn't show up as a DLC on the complete edition. You would install the remastered version fresh and ultimately delete/uninstall the complete edition to reclaim disk space.

I don't have a button to update? Tell me how to do it.
