can't get into the main menu? WTH

bought the game. installed the game. attempted to start the game. never get past the opening initial video, Hours later still stuck on a transitional screen between title and main menu. what the hell is this unplayable bug about?

whoops sorry i didn't think of this. here they are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

Bro upgrade ur Ram to 16GB,if not the game will stutter ALOT.I upgraded my Ram to 16GB juz for this game.This is an open world game,the game is HUGE.Your GPU is good,met the recommended specs.GTX1650 juz a bit slower than 1060.U can play at Original setting.

Yea it crashes for me as well and I'm about to give up trying fixes for it...should never have bought this game but at least it was less than $10 when I impulse bought it months ago(That is what I get for not playing a game right after I buy it). At least I don't have to worry about buying the sequel anymore. lol

Edit: Got it working. Opened up steam as administrator then opened the .exe properties checked windows compatability windows 8 and run as administrator. Also ran it from the .exe in the file location.

Edit2: Welp that didn't last long...Guess I give up. Got a bit into tutorial than it crashed and won't load save without crashing again. Sony can suck it.
