Thank you (Anyway, I was looking for a new character, because when the character is totally different it seems that you are playing a new game)
1) I removed my original Patch_Aloyprettyface.bin file from Packed_DX12 folder here,
\Steam\steamapps\common\Horizon Zero Dawn\Packed_DX12
2) I downloaded aMJWVuYAjsCzKvdslQJv.bin file from same link I gave you
3) I copied the file aMJWVuYAjsCzKvdslQJv.bin to
\Steam\steamapps\common\Horizon Zero Dawn\Packed_DX12
It still worked for me, even without renaming back to Patch_Aloyprettyface.bin
I think if you have it copied to the Packed_DX12 folder renamed or not, it should be working.
So long as you didn't change the file extension from .bin to something else.
All files in the Packed_DX12 folder should be .bin extension.
Lastly, it is a subtle change.
You might want to test the change in a dialogue situation where it zooms on her face when she talking.
Install/uninstall and compare back/forth to be certain.

You can do that.
We can have you playing any character in the game you want.
You can do any NPC swap or even just any NPC clothes swap.

Thats a really sweet mod tool that does all sorts of neat stuff.

The tutorial on youtube is from January so a bit outdated, there are more features and tabs now.
No. I run it from a folder outside game directory.
Just make sure you go to settings tab and target the game folder
Basically, when you done with everything you want, hit the install pack tab at bottom and it will make a .bin file called Patch_AloysAdjustments.bin in Packed_DX12 folder.
Same place as the face mod from earlier.
Will have to revert back to aloy for that final sequence.
Of course you can toggle back after that in the post game and NG+

What I dont understand is:
The program says "NPC" (list) and next "apply to model Mapping" (list)
Like if I wanted to apply a char shape to another model? but there is no "aloy" option there

Thats right. It is assumed all is for Aloy.
So you won't see her listed.
When you click the NPC, the left column for the character you want to swap, it will auto check the correct model mapping on the right.
That will be the character that will swap to Aloy.
***I haven't tried changing the model mapping check box to something else manually.
That might actually work to move around models on other NPC. Not sure.
That might be the experimental part of the mod tool.
