Can't even get to main menu FIXED
Game crashes every time I boot up and select a language. Gets to Sony Presents and crashes. It's been reinstalled, latest Windows and Nvidia drivers, files have been verified. Running an i9 14900k and 4090.
Found the fix that worked for me and it's an old school one. For some reason it didn't create a desktop shortcut so, R.click on it in your list, go to browse. R.click on the exe file (Should look like the game if you don't know) go to properties and disable full screen optimisation. Should work. It'll look ropey but once you're out of the intro cinematic and in the main menu you'll be okay.

Please, please check your audio settings first. Before anything else, just verify your audio settings are compatible with HZD. Hint: CD ranges 44K/48K are valid. More than that will cause bizarre behavior.

You helped me! So I have Windows 11, so i had to do mine a little bit differently! I opened my Windows Settings (Ctrl+I) on the left click on System > Display > Graphics > HZD Options > Under Graphics I choose High Performance (My GPU which is a 4060 TI) and Checked the box "Don't use optimizations for windowed games". After that, I opened my NIVIDA App and set my game to Window and it worked!!! I switched it to Borderless Full Window and it still works! After owning the game for a while I'm so happy to say everything works now!
