HZD: STRIKE FROM ABOVE DOES NOT WORK ON PC

As stated in the title, I'm playing on PC, and the Strike from Above (and Below) actions are literally not possible to do for me. The prompt does not appear, and pressing the key for it doesn't work either. I've tried fresh installing, I've tried plugging in a controller, I've tried remapping and resetting my controls, I've tried different points in game, different machines, elevations, angles etc. Nothing works, and it means I literally cannot 100% this game on my Steam.

(Before anyone says anything about it, yes I am aware that you need the skill, I have it, plus all others, I've 100%'d this game on PS4, and completed multiple playthroughs on PC. I also know that you cannot be spotted, and any other base game mechanic relating to the skill. This is literally a bug, and I'm looking for any fix that will either allow me to do this skill, or to get the achievement.)

Tbh, I didn't even have to resort to finding such a guide to do most of those achievements on my own. Common sense and exploration told me most of it, imho.

That, obviously apart chasing all those Nora lands Training Dummies one because as I perceive it it's mostly for people with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). But please take that perceptoin of mine with a few grains of . Thanks in advance.

Whilst I really appreciate the offer, I have already tried several different save files from several people, with no luck :/

I was thinking to get your save and do the thing on my end, and then give the save back to you, but I'm not sure if you then load the game, steam would register it as completed...

Works fine on the PC, got the
* 3 strikes from above achievement
*Kill 5 different machines using dismount strike skill achievement.

Hm... a good suggestion, although based on the other attempts with saves, I have a feeling it wouldnt register with this either. What I need to try is having someone else log on to my account on a different PC, and test to see if it works on there.

Yeah, it isnt a universal bug. My dismounts work though, and I have that achievement.

Hey guys. I am having the same problem. I want to get the Strike from Above trophy but the skill just won't prompt. I have the skill unlocked, I tried standing on rocks, ledges, ropes from stealth or outside but it is just not giving me the prompt

Okay I finally got the trophy. Here is what I did:
I backed up my save files and then deleted them.
Downloaded saves from here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2702692992
Deleted all mods.
Verified filed games.
Then it worked.

I suggested that exact save game set on the first page, but we didn't discuss mods... the back-and-forth on unrelated things kind of sidetracked the troubleshooting, I really should have asked that, apologies.

So.... hey Ellie, do you use any mods? Can you move them out of your Packed_DX12 directory temporarily and see it it starts working, it you do?
