If your intent was to discourage or stop such a thing, then I'm afraid you've failed miserably.

It's basic physiology, just because you want to protect something, come out in protest against any corruption introduced to it, you will only encourage the exact thing you were trying to prevent. For not only will they have the satisfaction of doing what they'd intended to do, but they will also have the pleasure of defying you who stood against them at the same time. (rule 43 for reference.)

The best thing to do is simply ignore such things, and allow them to fade to obscurity with the passage of time as they deserve. By bringing light to them yourself as your doing here, your giving such people more power than they possessed themselves. To such types, attention is equal to power, do your really want to give them any more; especially your own?
