Face Paint Question

Is Face Paint only available on Photo mode or I can apply it during the gameplay?

Yes available during gameplay.

Playing NG+ is not enough. You need to actually have beaten NG+ on hard or higher to unlock it. Which face paints (and focus colours) are available depends on which difficulty you have beaten during NG+ with higher difficulties unlocking more of them. UH unlocks them all.

My personal favorite is the "Nora Seeker" paint, as it is also pretty lore-friendly after the proving (since Aloy was anointed Seeker).

TBH i find it kinda strange when everyone says Aloy bears the mark of a Seeker, which i presume is a reference to the face paint that you dont have until after 2 play-throughs...

Yeah, it kinda sucks that you have to play a third time to fully enjoy them. I’m doing UH just for it. I don’t even care for the trophy itself. Hopefully, until I actually start the NG+, wemod fixes their cheats.

You can unlock it at your second playthrough if you dare to play NG+ on ultrahard. oO

? But we only unlock it after beaten it on NG+, which is the second playthrough. I don’t now what you mean.

As I understood it the old woman gave a mark to her that shows the symbol of the seeker for her to show to people. So I don't think NPCs refer to any kind of facepaint.
