Really? It's already nerfed from a standard Thunderjaw, as it has the less weapons and you have a support to kick him or to distract, your Hawk.

I had much more problems in Zeta with the new one.

I feel like there's some outside factors to the difficulty of some fights. I found Redmaw much harder than the Zeta one as well. Zeta just sat back and let me pound the heck out of him with his own disc launchers, while Redmaw was on top of me so aggressively I couldn't even find 2 seconds to rope him down. Redmaw also felt way more durable, which makes me wonder if player level has any affect on certain fights, or if because Redmaw is a quest target compared to Zeta thunderjaw having no level requirements.

Meh, Thunderjaws aren't that hard. When you didn't know what to do, then for sure. But once you do learn that they're so weak to tear, it's easy as f. Redmaw had even less weapons. Tearblast the hip cannons and spam the face with Tearblast to get rid of face cannons and it's pretty much a charging bull. You can stop that by spamming ropes with highest Tear mods you can fit in and you can show em who's the sub, who's the dom. From there you have so many options. No safe word required.

Dunno, did it on hard. Using tearblaster to get rid of disc launchers and his face laser beams was easy. Then using launcher to dump some damage on him was also straightforward. But he has so much HP, and if one charge got me, I would die. Did dit at level 26

I did the DLC with lvl 25 and came out with lvl 50 with the mighty bow. Maingame was a cakewalk^^

I hit him in the face so many times with the tear arrows yet he never stopped doing the beam spray the whole fight. I also couldn't seem to rope him fast enough so I resorted to freezing him instead.

Also I was so busy trying to survive that I didn't even know where his launcher dropped until after I killed him.

In normal mode was nothing special, dunno in other difficulty levels. Ropes to bring him down, scan, hit the weak spots with 3 arrows at once, use his weapon when he drops it, rinse and repeat. Fun fight but nothing extraordinary.

Might do a second playthrough on harder difficulties later then... should be fun.
