Avad the Sun-king and Nil the Mercenary

Am I the only one noticing that they look almost identical? The only difference is that they have different pattern below their eyes. Even the clothing of Nil is clearly of Sun kingdom like and not a cheap one.

I was totally expecting him to reveal himself or Aloy to call him on it when he pulled her for a private chat at their first meeting, but nothing...

thought it might be a brother, but of any of the glyphs I have scanned a far none have implied his existence. A half brother would fit better: close enough to look alike, far enough to have freedom to roam, possibly shameful or unknown enough to not be mentioned in histories.

I doubt that would be the case. I've got the game on console, and from what I've seen, Avad only had two other brothers. Nils isn't one of them, although they might be cousins. Do we know if the Mad Sun-King had any siblings?
