You should do it before the main story is done too btw.
Been finding these weapon mods early in the base game, and after a brief spoiler-free google search it seems like you only get the ability to mod it unlocked in the expansion.
Wondering it it's worth it to be holding onto the mods taking up inventory space for the next dozen hours or so, or if it's a quick and easy process to get this ability?
It is like that because you chat with "something" when you finish the DLC main missions, and the information you share could spoil some of the story depending on your progress.
Be sure to be 30+ with good mods on your weapons or the lodge versions specially if u use the ropecaster a lot like me.
Pretty early into the game, actually is one of the first Errands you can get, be sure to get the purple spear first because you can place two mods using that spear
I would recommend to wait until you are almost done with the base game, because you should have advanced equipment by then.
When you get to the ''Colosseum like arena from Rome'',after that quest it should be the right time to do the dlc...the DLC story takes place before the end of the game.If you played zelda breath of the wild Dlc,its the same thing....actually,if you play the dlc,the endgame should have additional conversations and npcs because you have done the dlc story
horizon main game release date: march 2017
frozen wilds dlc release date: november 2017
not that hard to understand i think.
if take into consideration the release date, yes, but cronologically the DLC story takes place before the end of base game,so it makes no sense to do it after....this is so true that if you do the DLC story before ending the game, the last mission have conversations about what you have done in the DLC.
So...if you like story AND lore, you're wrong
In the case of HZD the DLC is a complement to the main story, not a continuation... if you were playing the DLC after finishing the base game you were doing it wrong xD
This ^
what is the name of this mission please ?
because if i google this im 100% i get spoiled for other thing
