Tool menu

Hi,
How to open tool menu? I know that I can chang tools with X and Z, but now I have 13 items there and it isn´t very practical in fight.

there is no radial menu unfortunately

i ran into the same issues and there is just too much stuff to switch around


(i just keep traps and health potion - rest i sell . keeps tool menu clean )

Yes, and there is also luring enemies, throwing rocks and call mount, so there should be some wheel, like weapon wheel to let you choose what you immediatelly need.
This is very unpractical.
Thanks for confirming, I thought that only I can´t find it in menu.

Its probably from the fact that a controller only has so many buttons and they didnt do a full rework for the PC port.

Surprising regarding how many ports on PC have bad reputation for ignoring PC specifics. One would assume that they wouldn´t risk it. And also that they will let the game to be tested by someone who "like to play games" - he would immediately said them that there need to be tools wheel.

It'd be great if we could swap tools with mouse scroll. Hell, it'd be great if at least we could manage the tool menu!

I know its not the ideal solution but if your mouse is up for the job you can assign a custom profile and bind mousewheel left as z and wheel right as x
that way it wont interfere with weapon scrolling up and down

Sadly my mouse doesnt have side scrolling, but I tried to bind scroll up and down as Z and X since I dont use scroll to swap weapons, and the game didnt recognize scrolling as bindable, unfortunately.
Maybe a mod in the future?

I just bought the game and this is the reason i stopped playing it. Pressing Z and X while kiting swarms of dinobots just pisses me off. Makes me want to destroy all items except healing potions, except call mount, and a bunch of other ♥♥♥♥ is still stuck on the item wheel. I'd return the game if I had the option. Logitech Gaming Software wont rebind scroll wheel to Z and X and other 3rd party rebinding tools are just laggy as hell and it takes me spinning the wheel like a roulette to get it to register one button press. Each rotation isnt a single keystroke.
