Parts Alone Trial problems

I am trying to do this trial where you shoot off the canisters but every time I shot one, they just die. I run out of prey to hunt. Is it because I am playing on easiest setting? If that's the case, can I alter the difficulty setting mid game or do I have to start over?

Using bow with harvesting arrows in this challenge helps a lot. It seems that those are made for kicking off components off the machines without hurting them a lot. OR just using the bow with least TEAR and Damage can help too.

came to this challange late cos i had already played it on ps4. i used the shadow sharpshot bow, tearblast arrows will allow you to beat this challange within 10 secs just by shooting 3 arrows

It's not related to difficulty.

Ignore watchers but scare those trashmobs to run so they get in group. Then shoot the arrow with 0 damage and 400 tear on any trashmob on any trashmob in the group - trial will be instasolved. Maybe you'll need to shoot two such arrows, but that's only if you miss the grouped trashmobs but shoot a singled one.

I can't now remember the name of those arrows, you can buy a bow with them from a trader, they're of pink color.

If you reload your last save it resets the enemies. Also quick way to teleport back to hunter at the trials as it still counts as completed.

Which bow do you use? I think i did that one with Tear Arrows from the sniping bow.

You need anything with high tear, but the tearblast arrows from a sharpshot bow are the best.

Go to the merchant at the top of the hunters trial hill and purchase/equip/craft ammo for the bow that uses tearblast arrows.
Take the left rope down to the trial area go forward up the small hill crouch and go to the left there is a platform ,you should have a good view of the pack of grazers from there, take your time and plan your shots aim for their backs.
I recommend you shoot one draw your bow again first ,then activate the concentration skill if you have it unlocked shoot another turn off concentration draw your bow again turn concentration back on then fire again . it is criminally easy with the right ammunition. (tearblast arrows) took me about 27 seconds to altogether
