Well I mean I could take a lot of time to go over the entire game from its mechanics to visuals to UI and compare them to what was out 7 years ago and how things have progressed since then but I feel like that would be a grand waste of time given the audience. Changing the opinions of someone who is incredibly ignorant and proud of it is no easy task.
They are both open world games running on the same engine, and whilst DS could get 2.0 working among other cool effects, which may or may not be HZD's devs fault, HZD can barely keep a stable framerate and load in its last gen looking textures in general.
For jeebus sake i can run RDR2 better than HZD and that game runs like hot garbage lol
the only yourself id kill is YOU
Ive been testing it by shooting the weak-spot on horses as they are running. Even if its a direct hit the game many times wont count it because its hard to execute a script on a running enemy like that.
it reminds me of witcher 3 combat, where your crossbow bolts would automatically hit scripted spots on the enemies, where you would swing your sword and the script takes over to SLIDE you to the nearest enemy. So garbage
I can just feel if a game is garbagey within like 5 seconds. I just know. This is not a high quality game
these are game designers not game developers, game designers borrow stuff that already exists and implement them in the most basic way possible
and the perks only being able to be unlocked in strict sequences literally ruins the entire purpose of RPG elements in gaming.
A player should be able to decide to skip the basics and save up for OP perks instead, otherwise its not really an RPG. But a narrow hallway of a game
Surprised how bad your troll is.
The UI just doesn't compliment the graphics, it just looks like theres junk in the way of my game
And the way the waypoints dont point to an objective, but instead the nearest road that will get you to that objective, results in an extremely intrusive UI in general
Im gonna check settings and see if i can maybe make the UI slightly transparent, i cant believe this developers did not enable anti-aliasing on the UI elements
in risk of rain 2 there is option "Enable AA on UI text and icons" or something. Which struck me as amateurish because AA on UI should always be enabled on all games period
If you are wondering why it says i dont own the game, i do. As well as +1800 other games in my steam library. However steam does this new thing where they CRIPPLE your steam account for 2weeks, then a month, then 8 weeks if you get two warnings from community moderators within a period of 14 days. And the things i got "warnings" for were absolutely hilarious. So this is my alternate truth account where i say true things. Truth has a detrimental effect on people so it is wise to make an alternate steam account to chat in the community hubs. The last two things on my main real steam account i got warnings for. #1, I said"Im right your wrong im right your wrong get out get out get OUT!" -Clearly a joke. and the other was for making a post in the dayz community hub called "Whats the deal with dayz? Seriously?" and i asked them why other game companies have made 3-4 full games from scratch while they still havent gotten in the main features from the dayz mod. I got banned for "Trolling" This resulted in 14 days where i couldnt even send screenshots to my friends in chat
so yeah, this is my alternate steam community hub account where i can tell moderators to suck it, lick it, rub it, flick it, bop it, etc
also, the game runs fine for me with everything on medium and textures on high. I havent had any crashes yet. It just took me a while to actually get the game to launch.
