Resizable BAR performance issues on NVIDIA

Hello, please DISABLE the ReBAR profile for Horizon Zero Dawn in the next NVIDIA Driver release, there is insane -20% performance loss when its enabled on all the current intel High-End CPU's, i am curently benchmarking and this imediatelly cought my eye, it appears that AMD systems are less-affected but still take a performance hit! I hope you reslove this issue in the future, but for the moment this problematic feature must be disabled ASAP!

Here is a full list of all the PC configurations i tested this issue on:
i9-9900KS with RTX3090
i9-11900K with RTX3090
i9-13900KS with RTX4090
r7-5800X3D with RTX4090
r9-7950X3D with RTX4090

Interesting analysis. Past posts have suggested inconsistent performance with HZD + Resizeable BAR, but it looks like fundamentally a driver-level problem rather than anything inherent to the game, since it plays fine on Intel ARC GPUs which require Resizeable BAR to perform well.

I have an i9 9900K and an RTX3080 and planning to play this game in the near future. Will I be affected? So how do I disable this now? Thanks.

To answer my own question: Resizeable BAR is only supported on 10th gen Intel CPUs and higher. 9th gen isn't supported:

To answer your question, 9th gen is fully supported, you just need to update your Motherboard BIOS to its latest version. I have no idea who wrote that dumb article on Nvidia's website but most likely he isn't working there anymore....

I use the old 5950X with rebar and its running great

i can confirm this, i was getting some ocasional fps drops in some areas that seemed like it was loading something but after i disabled rebar i no longer drop from the 165fps cap im using,

5800x3d and rtx 4090
