The game does not start after removing the mod

I tried to play with a VR mod. After deleting, the game does not start, cannot find the open_vr file, when I restore it, the game starts with VR settings and warps the space. Reinstalled 2 times, deleted the saves, what else can I do?

When you uninstall to try to remove a mod because you don't know what the mod files are, you have to delete the install folder after uninstalling to get rid of the remaining files.

Steam doesn't delete anything that it didn't download its self. So uninstalling leaves the mod where it was.

You could also just check the file you extracted the vr mod from and see what is in there to know what to remove.
