Longhorn spot me in tall grass

Hi everyone, I'm trying to kill longhorns so I'm luring them one by one in the tall grass but as soon as they come close to me (2-3 meters) they spot and attack me. I just can't kill them using stealth approach.
The same does not happen with other machines.
Is it a bug or intended?

Should be intended, the range in which they can see you is about the range the pop up for a stealth kill happens. If it is not poping up maybe its a bug, but ye if they get super close theyll see you humans as well. Some also have scanners. Youll either wanna stealth kill them if theyre not too big or throw a rock somewhere. Or walk to the other end of the grass and try to stealth kill in the middle of the grass so they dont see the dead body

Repeated luring eventually gives away Aloy's presence/location, if Aloy has not been seen or heard then the long grass will always provide perfect concealment with only two exceptions. The first exception is if a machine uses a scanner and the second is if a machine bumps into Aloy.

If on ultra hard as well, if you whistle while an enemy is full yellow they will know where you area and attack. On ultra hard you get spotted way easier

The machine is not bumping into me, it is outside the tall grass while I'm hiding in it. Before even entering the tall grass, the machine can spot me if watching in my direction even if not alerted at all (shows blue light). I'd like to remark that other machines in the same context can't see me, only broadheads (aka longhorns) can.

I tried with maximum difficulty (the difficulty level I'm playing all the game) and lower difficulty, same behavior.

And that range is normal to be seen from, when theyre coming towards you look at them, youll be able to silently kill them if you have the perk.

Okay, after watching your video I think you have a bug. I tried recreating it on ultra hard with and without a stealth outfit and Aloy was not detected.

Do you have all the stealth related skills unlocked yet? One of those might be responsible for the difference.
