This has been sadly happening since Tomb Raider 1 on the PC. Some folks just don't know what else to do with their lives. There are some other mods, like one that adds gameplay tweaks, but it's surprisingly light in mod department. I would've expected some stealth mods or something that your resources stack better.

Not a single nude or revealing mod there! Just a few really good mods by somebody who created decent and actually useful mods!

I have been thinking about it too lmao. It's weird how people can even take up in their thoughts of Aloys nudity in a type of game like this. But in the end I feel every female in every game has been sexualized at least in some way by the community so it is nothing new :D

It is a bit unfortunate there isnt a larger variety of mods, but base game is still super enjoyable enough it doesnt require mods. Sure ide like to swap some armor cosmetics... but its ok

i.e. you can play as Rost or Nil or other cool dude instead of whiny teen girl

On a serious note, the nude mods did not got invented for Skyrim.
Have you ever heard about "Nude Raider"?
It's an infamous rumor about the original Tomb Raider (1996) has a button combination to make Lara fully nude.
Well, Eidos did NEVER add anything like that into the game, still the urban legend exists til today.

However, there are modders who made it real.
You can easily google for even the original old games to get nude mods...

Not my cup of tea, but some people enjoy playing a nude character.
I have no problem if it's part of the story like in the Witcher games, where Geralt doesn't hesitate much. ^^

But playing a nude character jumping around, fighting and talking with NPCs, appears rather comical for me, therefore I see no point in using such mods for myself.

When there is a lot of talking incoming you can just switch armor to go back to Aloy.
In HZD each armor is not only armor, it is whole model (skin). Mod basically re-links armor skin names with models from the very big list of all "human" models in game. So if you have 10 armors available in inventory, you can have 10 different models linked and switch between them without reloading game or anything.
Can be used for switching of looks of armors as well, if you want to use some armor for protection, but dont like looks of it.
Mod is really simple and cool and brings lots of novelty to game perception.
