Dualsense update?

is it possible for this game to support the Dualsense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback? I've been loving it in other Sony releases (Death Stranding, Tokyo Ghostwire) and would love to see more games implement this feature.

Seeing as Horizon Zero Dawn originally released on PS4 back n 2017 and the Complete Edition released on PC in 2020, I doubt Guerrilla Games would want to add support for anything new to a game that is approaching 5 years old! I'm fairly certain that Guerrilla Games are currently somewhat focused on Horizon Forbidden West for the time being.

Not saying it will never happen, just pointing out that it's highly unlikely!

Ah, I see... i purchased on my PS4 back when it came out, and wasn't sure if it EVEN got an update to support Dualsense on PS5 - so i guess i should have added that as a part of my question lol.

They recently added in DLSS to the game only a couple months ago, which many thought was going to be unlikely. However, it may be that players who have a PS5 gamepad may be too small a group to have a team update the game for, especially if the game or its engine version can't natively support the increased input/output functionality.

Death stranding uses the same engine as Zero Dawn, and that has dualsense - so i'm sure the engine can support it. But, like you said, they probably don't want to put the work in for a smaller user base.

I guess there are much users with dualsense-controllers on PC. Make sense to buy a dualsense than a dualshock for PCs nowdays.

im quite sure most people own a xbox controller due to its much better support overall.

without 3rd party software even the dual shock support is bad and dual sense is even worse.

But getting the chance to use the ps5 features on PC is still worth for me and features are great. I can really recommend dsX software.

I am using DS5 without any other software than Steam-Input. Each game will work. And Uncharted supports adaptive triggers out of the box.
