Improved Stormslinger tutorial doesn't appear after completing the upgrade quest

I am currently playing the DLC and I acquired all the upgraded Banuk weapons but the tutorials appeared only for the improved versions of the Icerail and the Forgefire weapons but not the Stormslinger.

I tried doing fast travel as well as doing a complete close and restart of the game but it didnt pop.

It's a never fixed bug. I don't think anyone actually gets the Improved Stormslinger tutorial quest when they get the Improved Stormslinger, but as soon as you start a New Game+ that tutorial quest will pop as soon as you load into the game world outside Rost's Cabin!

Weird, trying to recall if it popped up on my PS4 game or not.

That is really odd that it triggers on a new NG+ game but not when you actually obtain the weapon upgrade.

I wonder why this wasn't fixed. Not a deal breaker but still a bug nevertheless.

Yeah, it really is a weird one. When it happened to me on my first ever playthrough I wondered what was going on so I spent some time searching for an answer. Found a couple where other players were saying that it's a known bug that simply hasn't been fixed for some reason and that the tutorial quest will usually pop when starting a NG+. Sure enough, when I eventually started my first NG+ the tutorial quest for the Improved Stormslinger popped up straight away!
