I think some people need to go outside more and see what the real world looks like at different times of the day and year instead of whining about the conditions in front of them on their screens.
And it doesn't prevent me from getting spectacular views.
Having it constantly blocking the view in game is not. The fog is horrible at ALL TIMES and is ALWAYS THERE.
The rain also doesn't look realistic either.
Except this game doesn't really look anything like how real weather looks so your condescending take is null.
I don't see that constant fog all the time, no.
Your screenshots show very low quality, but is hard to tell as camera is far.

note: some screenshots look washed out, sadly that's how they came out when I took the snapshot playing in HDR... in-game playing in HDR it looks far better.
