I try to load in and screen turns black.
When I first got the game I could play it fine and now for some reason when I try the load into a save it shows a black screen. I can see the loading icon at the bottom left and hear the music but the rest of the screen is black. I then deleted all of my progress and tried to start a new game and it still didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game then validated files and it still didn't work. This happened almost a year ago. I also sent a detailed description with pictures to the developers email and still haven't gotten a response. Please help.

What graphics card are you using? What memory speed are you using?

It sounds like a hardware issue to me. With an unstable GPU overclock the game will normally crash straight away after game loads. So in your case it is more likely either a power issue or unstable overclocked ddr4 memory.

Go into your bios and reset memory to default speed. Don't use xmp profile.

If your issue is a power supply you may need to buy a new one.
Where do I reset my memory when I’m in the bios settings

Please don't listen to philosopher's attempt at advice if you're not familiar with managing your bios.

You can cause actual problems for your system in there.

First of let me start by saying you won't cause any issues with your system by resetting memory to default in bios. All you are doing is turning of xmp profile which is your memory rated advertised frequency. For example mine is 3,000 mhz but by default it will be 2400 mhz.

If you don't know what I'm talking about and have never enabled xmp profile then chances are it is already on default 2400 mhz.

To check memory speed click CTRL, ALT, DEL then go to performance tab and click on memory. What is your memory speed?

In bios setting to the right of the screen it said the memory frequency for it is 2400

I’m trying to see if it worked right noe

But the speed of my ram is 3200 so should I put it at that?

Sure, to put your memory to your advertised speed their should be an option that says xmp profile. Just enable it and see if it works. This will definitely improve your performance in games but I don't think it will fix your black screen issue.

Memory is more stable at lower clocks but it is already at it's lowest clock so chances are your issue isn't your memory.

I don’t see an option that says xmp profile I jUst see memory frequency so I changed it to ddr4-3200mhz the speed of my ram

This is the only game I have problems with

xmp profile will be their and it will set your speed to 3,200 mhz and it also increases voltage a bit which makes it more stable.

What you are doing could cause your pc to fail to even start without enabling xmp profile due to voltage being to low.

Don't worry if your pc fails to start as it's easily fixable, Turn your pc off and remove the bios battery then put it back in. Your pc will start again now find the xmp setting.

This is why I say not to listen to philospher. Everything is supposedly some manner of overclock issue with them.

Meanwhile, there are software compatibility issues that cause problems with the game that have absolutely nothing to do with overclocking and are vastly more common.

Such as sonic studio/nahimic which will prevent the game from booting. Or having your playback rate for audio in windows set too high.

Don't immediately jump to messing with your bios.
