Yeah I think this game isn't optimize for AMD GPU.
Try to force the 16:9 aspect ratio if you used Auto.
Are you using automatic resolution adjustments or have you set the percentage manually? In your screenshots, I noticed a black border that occurs when you play not at 100% resolution. Perhaps this is the problem.
I was using normal fullscreen mode. I tried switching between screen modes, but the black bar kept appearing. Even with forced 16:9 aspect ratio manually set on 4k resolution. I don't think it has something to do with the Windows 10 notification bar, as my HUD appears over the black bars...
What surprised me is that the black bar does not appear (in the time i tested it) when i play it on 1440p or some other lower resolution.
As I already wrote, according to my personal observations, a black border appears when the render scale is less than 100%.
This seems to have solved the problem with the black bars, thank you! There's just this problem where my game crashes a lot more often with adaptive performance disabled... Don't see any fixes for that too in the forums. Thanks anyway!
Try to select the "safe" settings and play for a while to see if the game will crash. For example, 1080p, 30fps (DISPLAY SETTINGS -> FPS limit) and minimum graphics quality settings. If there are no crashes, then you have chosen a screen resolution or frame rate that is too high for your system.
Of course, there are possible reasons that do not depend on your system or you.
