WHERE THE F*** ARE THE RUINS?????

I’m supposed to return to the cave into which I fell during the Gift from the Past intro quest. I have restarted the game several times, wandered far and wide searching for this cave, always in vain. Once the quests are completed, they disappear from the menu so you can’t use them to locate the area in which they took place. I can’t locate Rost’s Hovel on any map. I even have the beautiful official HZD guide (all 800+ pages of it) and it does not show the location of the quests on the world map, only the bits immediately relevant to a given quest.

I will give 10,000 Internetz to anyone who can help me find that G**-d**** cave. Yes, I know it’s not essential, but in the early game Aloy needs all the help she can get. Besides, it has become a matter of principle to me now to locate it, no matter how long it takes.

The official guide I mentioned earlier includes a gorgeous foldout paper map of the HZD world - and does not identify either Rost’s Shrine or the Ruins, nor does it identify the Nora territory!

Rost’s hovel can be inferred by the 7 Grazer dummies and the Campfire which are depicted on said map - but that would be extremely difficult to do if you don’t already know where it is. The Embrace is not identified on this map, either.
