Petition for Horizon Forbidden West to be released on PC

Hi All,

To start off, I absolutely love Horizon Zero Dawn. When I heard news about the sequel, I was saddened to hear nothing about a PC release. I have noticed that many people have also expressed that they want Horizon Forbidden West to be released on PC. Therefore I created this petition with the goal of letting Sony know that we PC players want a PC release for the game. The current goal is to get to 100 signatures. Spread the word to help us reach that goal!

Sony has already stated that they have no plans to release a PC version along side the PS5 on day 1. If and when it does get ported, it won't be for at least 2-3 years at earliest. So signing a petition is pointless, seriously.

Thing is if we get the sequel on PC by the time we do more than likely it will be the fully patched complete edition and at a cheaper price than first day release prices. Kinda like this game was. I am pretty good with that as long as we do get it. Who really knows what they will do.

It will likely happen but not right away for the same reasons Microsoft/Bethesda won't be releasing Starfield on the PS5 right away and why Rockstar didn't release GTA5 and RDR 2 on PC right away ..... By concentrating on a single platform API they can get the game to market at least a year earlier and recoup their development costs sooner and then take a year to do the port over to PC .... The only reason Microsoft is releasing on Xbox and PC at the same time is for all effective purposes the Series X and PC are the exact same x86-64 platform and use the exact same DX12 APIs which wasn't possible with last gen systems because Jaguars CPUs and graphics weren't true x86-64 architectures. However Sony may be able to bring games to PC faster now since the PS5 is also an x86-64 platform with the only difference is Sony uses a proprietary API. I just hope the knuckleheads running Sony don't make the same mistake they did with HZD and Cheap Out by having a hack 3rd Party do the port which was really bad at launch and took months for Guerrilla Games to straighten out once they got their hands back on it. Let Guerrilla do the port themselves this time and in the long run it will save them time, money and reputation

The Playstation will be dead if they don't change their business model to include PCs like Microsoft already has. There is no money to be had selling hardware anymore, it's now sold at a loss. The money is in selling games AND Services and the only real way for Sony to get a larger market share is selling games and services for PC like Microsoft is doing or Microsoft is going to bury them

Currently consoles have a 30% Market Share with Sony having 17.5% and Xbox 12.5% ... However the PC has a 24% Market share (Maybe even bigger because of the Pandemic sending sales through the roof last year) .... By effectively making Xbox and PC one and the same Microsoft can grab a whopping 36.5% Market Share, effectively double what Sony can do and the ONLY way to whittle down Microsoft's Market Share is to take a chunk of the PC sales. If they can grab half the PC market (12%) and add it to their existing Market Share of 17.5% they take the lead, if they foolishly don't then Microsoft gets all 24% and buries Sony before the next generation comes out

Signed it, even though i have a strong feeling they are most likely gonna release it on PC, but just a few years after PS release like they did with the first one. Not releasing it on PC at all would be a ♥♥♥♥ move. If anything, maybe the petition might get them to do it faster this time around, which would be great!
