Audio issue Fix
So I know lots of people have been having audio issues with the game to where half of the audio it's cut off, or sounds far/low. This can be very annoying and no matter how much I changed my audio settings in my computer it'd keep happening only with this game. So I found a post online on how to fix this issue on PS4, cause apparently it was happening there too, and surprisingly it worked, to fix the audio of the game on my PC as well.

Go to ...\Documents\Horizon Zero Dawn\Saved Game\profile
There you will find a DAT file named "profile". Delete that file alone and restart the game.
Ever since I did that, the audio issues stopped completely and I haven't had any since. The game will later recreate a Profile file again so don't worry about it getting lost.
Hope this works for you guys the way it worked for me. Lmk in the comments.

No. I tried all of that when I was dealing with the issue and none of it fixed it. What fixed it for me was what I had posted originally

That checks with the default configs possibly being problematic. Its why most current games throw up some config choices on install or re-install vs. using a backed in default.

Hell I just did a dive on how bad RealTek drives are on win 11 and had to rip out Namic and other bloatware that windows auto installed for audio.
