Data Collection?
Do the 'x' or the check mean anything? So my preference would be not to let them collect any data but that seems to not be an option. So obviously I want limited data, however there's an 'x' in that box and a check in the box for full data. Even when I click limited it it still x'ed, do those two things not actually mean anything? Generally a check would mean this is the active choice, is that not the case here and even though it has an 'x' the one I clicked is active?

I'm sure it's all standard an harmless data but I don't consent to send any data I don't have to as a general rule.

For a comparison, windows menus have the same bit:
a check mark is everything is included
an x is that only some things are included
and a blank box is nothing is included

It always baffles me that people are afraid of games collecting their data, yet use windows, facebook, instagram and multiple other things to broadcast all their life events freely to the world...

Why would you think anyone gives a flying F what baffles you?

Discord does the same, yet many people are using it. Same with all the services from Google. Gmail, maps, chrome, they all collect data. And on gmail the NSA is watching along as well. And not only games like this one collects, but also MMORPG's and probably even Steam collects data. Free services has a price nowadays and that is data.

@Candesco: I know, I know...
it was more a sarcastic remark. I mean, pick whatever game you want, and you will find at least one post like this. But bwhen you dig a little bit and ask them, all have facebook, insta and thelike, and there you can see what they had for dinner, where they've been shopping and what they bought... and here they whine and ♥♥♥♥♥ about a game collecting data, probably less data than google maps and facebook, not even to mention windows...:steamfacepalm:

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
