Lighting Bug?

Hello, ever since I started playing I suddenly get this lighting bug in the middle of playing, where everything gets really bright all of a sudden.

No, I was not attacked by anything, this happens even if there is nothing around and seemingly completely at random, only way to fix it is to restart the game...

Does anyone have the same problem and maybe knows a fix?

Yes. I was wondering the same thing. Seems to happen more near water or snow. I don't have a fix. I've also noticed that bloom seems to be out of control. The halo around the fire arrows isn't what I remember on the PS4.

Hello, so this is what fixed my lighting bug, I had adaptive performance fps on, and after switching it off, the bug doesn't seem to appear now. Hope this helps :)

Turning off adaptive performance fps fixed it for me I think

In a case another players are looking for fix...
I verified game files with Steam. Re-uploaded almost 9 GB. And after that I got my nice Horizon world.

Huh...and here I was thinking snow blindness was supposed to happen in the game.

yes!!! I have had this issue for SO long. The only thing I've found that fixed it for me is that when it was happening, my graphics settings were always slightly in the red (higher than what HZD said my computer could handle). When I turned my graphics settings way down and got it under the recommended level for my machine, I saw a huge decrease in the occurrence. It still happens sometimes, but usually only when i change anything to do with my settings or move over to a different machine.
