Developers, your grass is flickering

Dear developers! Have you played your game at all? Your whole grass is shimmering. Blood comes from my eyes! Adjust anti-aliasing. Excuse my English, this is Google Translate.

I am with you OP.. I have made a video to show the issue as well.. You are not alone.. Issue is Real.. Devs need to fix.. I have waited long enough.. After all these patches they havent done anything related to this.. Lets hope a dev sees these posts and address our issue..

For those who argue there is no issue please watch the video in HD.. I can make more if you want.. the white flickering you see all over the grass when the character moves... Thats the issue..

I play all my games on a FullHD monitor and render at 4k for best anti-aliasing (aka super sampling). Either forcing 4k by using Nvidia DLSR or windows settings. Can this be fixed by this method? What resolution are you refering to? Fine features like grass will always flicker at FullHD res unless you turn it into a blurry mess, especially if it is white-ish.

Maybe with 4k this can be fixed.. But My system cannot handle 4k gaming.. 4k give less than 20fps.. there is no use of reducing every other graphic setting to get good fps in 4k.. When all the games works fine in 1080p.. why this old game cannot handle 1080p gaming??.. Just for this game I dont wanna strain my pc with 4k gaming.. Developers need to fix this issue.. until that this game is just a waste of space..

Completely agree. The issues are real. I had to stop playing. Bleeding eyes are not my thing.... :(

Have you tried:

Going into Nvidia Control Panel
Manage 3D Settings
Horizon Zero Dawn Program Settings
Then set Anisotropic filtering x16

This fixed the issue for me.

Same problem. Tried everything available on the internet, including reverting nvidia drivers. Seems like devs dont give a damn. Can't understand how is anyone able to play the game like this

Can you record your issue in some way, so that we can see what you are seeing?

I can't see any issues on those videos (maybe the video quality is too low)
Maybe a close-up of the issue (on the grass) would be better to illustrate it? Or uploading a high-quality video on Google Drive to download manually (to avoid youtube's very low video compression quality).

Grass (and beards) shimmer badly for me in this game, both on PS4/PS5 and on PC. It just seems to be an issue in general with this game.

Ive had none of those problems.

My only problem is that with vsync off its choppy but with it on its perfect. Even with freesync on, its like that. My only real complaint. Im capped at 75 fps 95% of the time
