Crashing when I manually save/load (and quick saving too)

title says it :(
every time i try to manually save, or quick save, it crashes. just started happening :(

Also crashes when i attempt to manually load :(
I can hit continue, i can play it fine after, but when i go to quick/manual save, it crashes right away
the saves do persist though

I found a fix.
if you can load into your game via "continue"
load in, then go to your save location Documents > Horizon Zero Dawn > Saved Game
Highlight all the save data, and just delete it, then in game, save (manually and quick). I fixed it that way.
just make sure you make a backup of your save files just in case

Wow, that works for me. I started having this problem after the last update, about 3 weeks ago. Tried finding discussion and fix for the problem, none. Even emailed Guerrila and no answer. I just wanna say, thank you! Hope this discussion can be seen by people experiencing the same problem.

I'm having the same problem. Since the 1.05 patch i crash if doing any kind of load/save besides continue/quick save. I just started new game + and I still want to go back to the old files.

hit continue to load into your game, then in your save folder, delete all the saves.
your old game is probably gonna have to go, but just use NG+ to be your main.

If you guys still have a problem after the fix such as deleting all saves, try deleting just one folder named "profile". It worked for me.
