Can't see any bow with that name in the list of weapons in the game.

Do you mean the banuk striker from frozen wilds that you buy with bluegleam? If yes, you can only get one per playthrough.

Yeah well, language differences. I know, but I rather want another one than that useless- and ugly-looking armor... (Banuk Champions Warbow included)

The banuk bow is a waste for fire. You're better off slapping fire mods on the shadow bow for getting fire down range faster. Banuk bow is for damage focused shots like hardpoints.

"fire down range" means? A hidden incinerate modifier?

The Banuk Bow has a higher fire base value. Modded it reaches ~120 which is twice as much as I reach with the Shadow Bow. I know that the Banuk Striker Bow hits pretty hard with reinforced (or hardened? forged?) arrows. That's how I use it atm.

The banuk bow only does its full fire value if you FULLY charge the shot, just like with normal and hardpoint arrows. For lighting stuff on fire, it's faster to use the shadow bow because it does max value regardless of how much you charge it.

yeah well... that's compareable to a hidden modifier...>>

Edit:

means, that Banuk Striker Bow also takes higher profit from handling mods than previous hunter bows did either with strike- or with fire-power. K, considereing that point it doesn't matter much whether I use fire on the banuk striker bow.

I have all the Banuk bows now and I love them. It might just be me but I would recommend them.
