High CPU usage
Anyone else getting high cpu usage at times while the gpu just tanks? Also Meridian sucks when loading in everytime i play the game and go there lol

Edit: Here are some pictures that i had taken before that sorta show the gpu and cpu usage

High CPU usage usually means your GPU is not pulling its weight. Aka your gpu is less powerful than the CPU.

Thats the usual suspect, but if you give your specs can nhelp narrow things down

rtx 2060 super and a ryzen 5 3600 lol

Same here. No other game comes even close to using my cpu this much. To be fair I have a 4770k but its overclocked to 4.7Ghz and this is the first game that at 60fps im running into being bottlenecked by my cpu.

ryzen 3600 4.2, usually 20-30% of cpu usage

Sounds like thermal throttling if other 3600 users are fine. But what does OP consider high usage?

It's actually the other way around. It's a cpu bottleneck lol
Cpu is too slow and maxed out and the gpu has to wait for it

Check your CPU core temp and frequency for thermal throttling as suggested above.

R5-3600 should run this game flawlessly.

Hi, what is a Ryzen 5 3600 lol ? I know a "x" version of this cpu.
Cotaks Aug 27, 2020 @ 3:40am
3600 stock
5700 xt

cpu runs at around 30%
FUN_STACK Aug 27, 2020 @ 3:43am
That's weird low level APIs whether it be Vulkan or DX12 always lowers cpu overhead. It shouldn't do that.
Loxly Aug 27, 2020 @ 3:44am
r5 3600 4ghz undervolted

20-30%
Engels78 Aug 27, 2020 @ 3:46am
Ryzen 5 2600
RTX 2070S
GPU about 95%
CPU about 50-60%

EDIT: 1440p

Base 3600 is the better part in terms of cost-to-performance ratio as the 3600X part despite being a better binned one does not offer nearly as much performance to cover its needlessly high price.
Just AMD saturating market nby needles price-point segmentation.
Same applies to say 3700X vs 3800X.

That was a joke, Arc. Nothing than fun. I forgot, that Steam isn't a funny platform while serious problem discussions. But thanks for explaning.

There are means to convey jokes, sarcasm, etc. through written language, or maybe your jokes are as bad as mine !
