We basically have two options: wait for the devs to fix the problem or use fast travel as an easy way to get auto saves. I'm going with the second option but it's really frustrating, but I can sometimes play for hours with no crash. The game auto saves every time a quest progresses, or when you fast travel (you don't need to do a quick save after fast travelling).
Although if you're getting 6 crashes in 30 mins that's unplayable, unless the other ideas to fix the crashing will help, or the devs eventually fix it.
Interestingly enough it seems to start after the proving (on my first and second playthrough) so you most likely past the refund threshold
Yeah I think it crashed even more often in the last patch. I have had 3 crashes during the same cut scene just now in like 5 minutes of each other.
I haven't seen any answers for fixes on crashes yet, I will do some digging though.
1060, 9700k, 16 gigs of RAM.
Yeah idk, cut scenes is definitely the trigger for me, at least 90% of the crashes are during cut scenes.

When playing horizon, I typically have discord open, along with about 4 background apps for Razer, logitech etc etc. and have never had a crash with just those open.
For the record I only have 16gb of ram.
I haven't had this PC long and haven't touched my geforce settings. It just seems weird that some people are crashing all the time, and others not at all
