8 GB more memory is a fine upgrade if you are in the mood.
That's sadly way too low for current state of the game (welp, it is low in general for any modern game but i digress).
You would have to set like 16+GB pagefile (Virtual Memory) just to finish this process which would take quite a bit of time as a result.
That being said, some people with 16gb are still having issues. I have 16gigs, and I also have discord, and multiple background processes running, and haven't crashed at all. Though, my gpu has 8gigs of vram, which could also be a defining factor especially when installing shaders.

Thank you. Increasing the cache, the pagefile on drive C helped. Even though I have a lot of memory, the game didn't start before.
