switch pro controller not working after 1.02

after patch switch pro controller just not working anymore

it still working in other games (Monster Hunter :World & Death Stranding)
but no response in Horizon

Maybe you missed being able to "understand" the title of the thread.
1) Learn to be polite and don't waste time playing with people, because that's what you did with the user above and with me, who in spite of myself i try to help this "abnormal in many cases" community when i feel like it, when i have time, if i want and with who deserves it!

1: Quotation marks are not for emphasis.

2: if you're going to make a numbered list, have more than one thing so it's actually, y'know, a list.

3: Your previous post claims the game does not support directinput devices, when my pro controller is working fine. The support is fine, OP is just having some weird issue. Which you're not helping by saying "Well it doesn't support directinput."

Go to settings, controller, big picture configuration. Here you can see if it it is being detected. If the controller is detected leave that big picture screen on. Then turn on the game. That should work. I just played and my pro controller works fine. Even gyro aiming works like a charm after the update.

What does it say when you open big picture mode? Is the controller recognized?

Yes.I even try other configurations. (official's or community's)
Even steam can recognized my controller, it just no response.
And I already reinstall steam and HZD but still the same.

I just hooked up my Switch PRO controller and it works just fine in HZD with the Steam controller support enabled. You must have some other issue, did you try another USB-port, does it work on the Nintendo Switch?

Tried all my USB-port.
Work fine on Monster Hunter:World and Death Stranding but not HZD.
and it work on the Nintendo Switch.

Maybe try going to settings, controller, general controller settings. And then check all the boxes. After this turn on big picture config and turn on the game.

There is nothing wrong with the patch, mine has been working fine the last couple of days.

Done. Didn't work.
I played this game 72 hours with switch pro controller before patch.
So I assumed that patch make it non function.

Actually, Before running HZD I open controller configurations my switch pro controller is working fine.
I can even change setting by using it. Leave it on and running HZD and now it become no respone nomatter I press any button.
Even I switch back to controller configurations it still no respone.
Then I turn switch pro controller off and on again.
Sometimes joy stick will work but none of the other buttons work as current controller configurations.

And my Xbox One controller didn't have that problem.
Before my post I assumed my bluetooth device broken.
But switch pro controller still working fine in other games.

It looks that actually this game has problems with your PAD...

Have you checked not Steam general settings, but Controller settings for HZD??? If you click RMB in your library on a game, there is option to configure controller for a game.
And do you use maybe some other software like d4win? I had very similar problems with my Dualshock 4, and since I configured it in Steam correctly, I don't use any outside programs...

Still not work. And I didn't use d4win.

Still not work. And I didn't use d4win.

Hello, can you try to have a direction in the menu for like 30sec. Because I think I have a similar issue. My controler does works but in a weird way. In the menu it's never working correctly but it have a lag input of several seconds. And in game, after few minutes I can play normally. BUT if I return in the menu (option or map/quest etc), it bug again and I need to wait several minutes again. So it's clearly my controller nor the fact the game can't reconized it.
