Is there ambient music when exploring?
When you just afk in some random bush in middle of nowhere or free roam explore the map outside of quests or scripted events does game play any ambiental music?
P.S. Is normal difficulty easy for experienced player? Can I change it mid-game??
Thanks!

Thank you for info! So I guess hard difficulty it is. Can't wait to hear ambient score. Game seems to have incredible music. Just hope it won't crash 24/7 for me as well like it seems to do for every other person.

I personally turned off in game music. (turned Music slider all the way to the left in audio settings) For me it feels more realistic and gives a better sense of immersion when there isnt music or random sounds playing. Instead you just hear the sounds of the game world.

Plus the sounds of the machines, animals, bandits, etc is better music to my ears!

The sound department did such a good job developing indicators by sound why cover it up with music?

You can't change difficulty in New Game+ though, so keep that in mind :)

Im a biggest music addict in the world and can not go a single day without hours of amazing music for my ears. Ingame music adds to athmosphere, immersion, it adds emotion the devs were trying to convey over visuals and world and story.
It adds layers of colour and depth to world and story or dialog between characters. It provokes adrenaline in combat and sense of wonder, immersion and pleasentness in exploring. I hate hate hate so much that souls like games only have music in boss fights. Yet a simble drone like ambiental track with just few long notes and such couldve done much much for immersion, joy and feel of the game.
I often mute music for meh games that dont have story and good music, after I listened to it once.
But for awesome games with great story and amazing music like witcher, skyrim, fallout, red dead redemption 2, horizon zero dawn death stranding, bioshock and so on it just makes the game so so much better. I nearly cried when geralt finds a certain gal cuz of how incredibly amazing the song tailored for that moment was. Combined with alrdy touching characters, story, dialog and moments the music can be that rocket boost that launches it so much further into immersion and captivating attention and emotion of the player playing the game.
